OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR WHERE REGISTRATION, BONDING OR LOCALIZATION ARE REQUIRED. SUBJECT TO ALL NATIONAL, REGIONAL AND LOCAL LAWS.

The Callisto Protocol Social Sweepstakes Giveaway event (the “Event”) is governed by these official rules (“Official Rules”), the Krafton Account and Website Terms of Service available here, and the The Callisto Protocol Terms of Service available here (collectively the “Terms of Service”). By participating, you accept these Official Rules and the Terms of Service.

1. Event Sponsor. KRAFTON, Inc. Centerfield East Tower 34F, 231, Teheran-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, Republic of Korea (“Sponsor”).

2. Participation.  Log into your Krafton account and participate in the Event as instructed by Sponsor.    Automated entries are prohibited and any use of automated devices will cause disqualification. To submit Event entries, you must submit via Sideqik and follow The Callisto Protocol’s (“TCP”) accounts on social media, satisfying all of the requirements of these Official Rules (“Submission”). Each unique Submission constitutes an Event entry, for the respective Event Period, as long as all the individual and applicable criteria are met for the Submission. Entrant must allow for messages on Discord, Reddit, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok or Twitter by changing settings on such platform. Each Event entry is associated with the participant who submitted it. Group submissions on behalf of more than one person (including player organizations) are not permitted and will not be considered. Each potential winner may be required to show proof of being the authorized holder of the applicable Krafton account.  Except where prohibited, participation in the Event constitutes entrant’s consent to Sponsor’s use of entrant’s name, likeness, voice, opinions, biographical information, jurisdiction of residence for promotional purposes in any media without further payment or consideration.

3. Event Period. The Event Period consists of the following: 

Event will begin on 5/26/23 at 09:00 AM PST and end on 6/1/23 at 12:00 PM PST. 
Sponsor’s computer is the official time-keeping device for the Event. LIMIT: 1 reward per Krafton ID.

4. No Purchase Necessary. No purchase, payment or other obligation is necessary to enter or win.

5. Determination of Winner. On or after the end of the Event Period, in its sole discretion, Sponsor will choose four (4) randomly selected winning entries from those who have submitted a correct required entry prior to the end of the Event Period. Winners will be chosen by Sponsor at its sole discretion based upon random selection. Any given entrant may have at most one winning entry during each Event Period. 

6. Winner(s).  The reward will be distributed within thirty (30) days after the end of the Event Period. Rewards will be shipped to the verified winners.  Sponsor may contact winners in English or winner’s designated language. If the notification that Sponsor sends is returned as undeliverable, or you are otherwise unreachable for any reason, Sponsor may award the prize to the next winner, time allowing

If you are confirmed as a winner of this Event:

• You may not exchange your prize for cash or any other merchandise or services.  However, if for any reason a prize is unavailable, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value; and
• You may not designate someone else as the winner.  If you are unable or unwilling to accept your prize, Sponsor will award it to an alternate potential winner; and
• You will be solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes related to accepting the prize; and
• Unless otherwise noted, all prizes are subject to their manufacturer’s warranty and / or terms and conditions.

7. Rewards. The reward for each winner during the Event is one (1) replica The Callisto Protocol (“TCP”) baton, one (1) TCP pin, one (1) TCP collector’s edition steel book, and one (1) TCP comic. The reward will be subject to the terms of the issuer. No substitution, assignment, return or transfer of the reward is permitted, except by Sponsor, who has the right and sole discretion to substitute a reward with another of equal or greater value. TAXES AND ANY OTHER COSTS, IF ANY AND AS REQUIRED BY LAW, RELATED TO THE REWARD ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER.

A winning entrant must respond to any notices sent from Sponsor and provide any requested information to receive any reward. Failure to so respond will result in forfeiture of the reward and allocating any limited quantity reward, if applicable, to an alternate winner.  Sponsor is not responsible for any change of email address, mailing address and/or telephone number of any entrant.

8. Conditions of Participation. By participating, you agree to abide by these Official Rules and any decision Sponsor makes regarding the Event, which Sponsor shall make in their sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify and prosecute to the fullest extent permitted by law any participant or winner who, in Sponsor’s reasonable suspicion, tampers with Sponsor’s site, the entry process, intentionally submits more than the allowed entries, violates these Official Rules or the Terms of Service, or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.

9. Disclaimer, Release and Limit of Liability. BY PARTICIPATING OR RECEIPT OF ANY REWARD, EACH ENTRANT AGREES TO RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS SPONSOR, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS (COLLECTIVELY, THE “RELEASED PARTIES”) FROM AND AGAINST ANY CLAIM OR CAUSE OF ACTION, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, OR DAMAGE TO OR LOSS OF PROPERTY/DATA, ARISING OUT OF PARTICIPATION IN THE EVENT OR RECEIPT OR USE OR MISUSE OF ANY REWARD. THE RELEASED PARTIES ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR: (1) ANY INCORRECT OR INACCURATE INFORMATION, WHETHER CAUSED BY ENTRANTS, PRINTING ERRORS OR BY ANY OF THE EQUIPMENT OR PROGRAMMING ASSOCIATED WITH OR UTILIZED IN THE EVENT; (2) TECHNICAL FAILURES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO MALFUNCTIONS, INTERRUPTIONS, OR DISCONNECTIONS IN PHONE LINES OR NETWORK HARDWARE OR SOFTWARE; (3) UNAUTHORIZED HUMAN INTERVENTION IN ANY PART OF THE ENTRY PROCESS OR THE EVENT; OR (4) TECHNICAL OR HUMAN ERROR WHICH MAY OCCUR IN THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE EVENT OR THE PROCESSING OF ENTRIES.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction. Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects. To the extent permitted by applicable laws, these Official Rules and the Event shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the Republic of Korea, and any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action and finally settled by arbitration by the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board (“KCAB”) in accordance with the International Arbitration Rules of the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board. The number of arbitrators shall be one. The seat, or legal place, of arbitral proceedings shall be Seoul, the Republic of Korea. The language to be used in the arbitral proceedings shall be English. The remedy for any claim shall be limited to actual damages, and in no event shall any party be entitled to recover punitive, exemplary, consequential, or incidental damages, including attorney’s fees or other such related costs of bringing a claim, or to rescind this agreement or seek injunctive or any other equitable relief.

11. Personal Information. Entrants will be required to provide personal information during the course of the Event, such as their email, Krafton ID, Steam account information, shipping information, in-game name and/or social media handles. This information will be used to promote the Event, contact winners, and deliver rewards. Without limiting the rights of Sponsor under its privacy policies available here with regard to its use of personal information, by participating in either Event entrants are consenting to the collection, use and processing of their personal information as set forth in these Official Rules and the privacy policy that applies to the Event, as well as any further processing of personal information willingly provided to Sponsor during an entrant’s participation in the Event. 

12. Languages. These Official Rules may be made in multiple language versions. In the event of a dispute as to the terms of different language versions, the English version shall prevail.

13. Miscellaneous. Sponsor reserves the right to change these Official Rules at any time, in its sole discretion, and to suspend or cancel the Event or entrant’s participation in the Event should viruses, bugs, unauthorized human intervention or other causes beyond Sponsor’s control affect the administration, security or proper play of the Event or Sponsor otherwise becomes (as determined in its sole discretion) incapable of running the Event as planned.
